Hi, I got my PS3 60GB model and only have a monitor and a TV with AV input, I put the PS3 into my TV and did the setup then plugged it into a cable that converts HDMI to DVI-D (my monitor has it)
and now when I plug my PS3 into the HDMI to DVI-D then it comes up on my HP monitor "OUTPUT NOT SUPPORTED" and my Monitors resolution is 1440x900 px so it should work, why isn't it?

Also I have tried adjusting the display settings and all the different types of output but none work WAAAAAA

If it doesn't work when you manually set it to 720p over hdmi then its likely that your monitor isn't hdcp.

Whats the specific model of your monitor?
