did you follow HiTecks guide ? link is in my sig
Post on the thread exactly what your problem is and someone will give you a dig out (but if you follow the guide you probably won't need it)
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

HI,
Can anyone tell me does the Eurovox 5000 work in the Dundalk area. I've chorus ntl in the house, used that feed but am still getting no channels. Some one told me that they don't think it works in the Dundalk area but only in Dublin and the 1000 model may be better suited. Any advise or help out there would be much appreciated.

The Eurovox works in the Dundalk area. Just make sure you are following the instructions properly. Common mistake is the cable link up is not inserted in the RF IN Channel

Yes of course it makes a difference, if you setup on the incorrect frequency then you will not receive the service, so you need to know who your provider is N*L 6887 - Cho*us 6875 it is one or the other, and do as SG8 has suggested go to the Eurovox link at the bottom of my post, better still click here >>>>>>>>>

And follow HiTeck's guide, you will also get the Firmware you have requested there also.

Thanks for all the help, its very good of you. I'm just a little confused as the lads that installed the box had ntl on their shirt. Ntl comes up on their box when its turned on but Chorus comes up on the screen on the tv. They have merged I'm aware. Maybe it's best to try both signals?

Won't do any harm at all, if it does not get the channels on 6887 then make sure you do a Factory Default before using the Ch*rus symbol rate, and I hope you have flashed your box with the Firmware? and you are quite sure it is not Ch*rus MMDS?

Tried both scans and nothing. I've installed the firmware from the link. I'm now going to try the factory default with the Ch+rus symbol rate. I had to put an adopter on the cable that goes into the Rf in part and I was wondering at this stage if that adapter was faulty. Hopefully not and the Factory default will work. Thanks again for all your help, very much appreciate it.

Hi again, I think my cable is Ch*rus MMDS. Does this make a difference? Is the box compatiable with this? Thanks once more for your time and help.

Yep that is the latest with regards to updates the latest one is for the same box but has the auto-sort feature 05/12/08 but yours should still update.
Turn box off at the mains, power back up go to Menu, OK on Language settings, type 1968 then again 1968 then press Default key (Yellow Button) exit back to TV and wait for it to update, if it doesn't update change channel but wait about 5 mins in between. start off on s*y sp*rts 1 then to 2 and so on.

Can you tell me do you need to keep a subscription with Chorus (MMDS) if you have the Digivox T or can you cancel? Thank you.
