I recently tried to backup my Saints Row 2 and everything went without a hitch no errors and such. It shows up the pic that is at the my xbox section just like normal, but when I go to play it is says dirty disc. I used wxripper and according to everyone it is the most effective way to burn without a samsung drive. Any pointers to getting successfull burns. Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention my two drives are the Hitachi79 flashed, and a Benq flashed with 0800 iextreme.

If you use WXRipper you HAVE to check with ABGX cause if you do not the game will be missing all of the security files which you need so you wont get banned.

Yeah I forgot to metion that I had done that as well. Is ripping 360 games still new enough that you may waste a disk or two till you get a good one. Or is different settings for whatever firmware you have? Once I get a good one I won't have much trouble after that. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

did you have autofix on level 3? the first time you run a scan on a wxripper rip it will say in red text that all those files are missing and then in blue text you will see it download them and perform the autofix. I am asking all this cause ixtreme stealth fw will not play a non stealthed game, i find it odd your disc is recognized but will not play so im not sure if this is the case or not.

Burning a game is the same no matter what fw you have as far as ixtreme goes. im not sure about any other fw but i dont know anyone that uses anything but ixtreme.

So verify abgx was set to autofix level 3 and to check crc data. you sound like you have done your research so that is probably the case.

Yes I did do auto fix 3. But the red text you are talking about I did not do. I have not seen any red text. I will try again and see what I can come up with.

When i scan my wxrips it tells me in red text the files are missing such as ss pfi dmi and all such files. it only does this the first time though cause it fixes it then and the next time you scan the same file it should say it is all good.

i just noticed you said u have a benq with 0800 is that the drive you are ripping with? if so i think may get the ss files for u like a kreon does. someone may have to verify that.

No I have a Lite-On DVD DL with the top taken off. I have seen other people do it as well so thats where I got the idea to do it myself. If you are talking about the red inside AGBX then yes I see that red text but I thought there was something inside wxripper that was red. How do I get the newest ini for AGBX? I did see that in one video I watched. Hopefully I get this fixed soon I have went through 5 DVD-DL discs since I started this.

You could just copy and paste the text. But did you set it on high verbosity level first cause that will show us all the details. it only shows on mediam by default. or you can post your image on imageshack

The drive is not even 2 weeks old. I downloaded SF IV cause I could not get mine to rip when I first started and I used nero burned it at 8x and it worked like a charm. So you say it looks good but I have had no luck at all. My drive was making a wierd sound when I put the last two in to see if they would boot and after about ten seconds I ejected so it would not mess up my drive. I then put the burnt SF IV back in and it reads within 5 seconds everytime. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions on what burning software to use. I have a atapi iHap 322 I think it is a lite-on wich is the same manufacturer of the drive that I used to rip the game to begin with. Yes I have two drives. If someone could give me suggestions on what burning software i will try that in the morning.

I may have found the problem. I noticed that my drive was not DVD-ROM booktype. Iswitched it last night but was out of discs. So its off to wally world to get some more. i will post back when I try it again but this time it will be img burn doing it.

I am using verbatim. They did not have any this time around had to go to Best Buy. I am almost halfway on my first retry now so i will post in a few.

Well it would appear that nero is not the best to burn with considering I used img burn and was successfull. I burned it at 2.4x and it took about 25 minutes but when I can play my backup I am happy. So anyone out there that uses anything but img burn and faster than 2.4x you may be waisting your time. I still have one question though. When you burn does your burners booktype have to be DVD ROM or can you just burn as is? I appreciate everyones help on this. I am gratefull.

i have a IDE SONY DVD RW DW-G120A and have flashed using sony update flash and trying to backup my xbox 360 game to an image it is comeing out 5.32 mb big please help me get the hole image :s i am exuasted trying to search every forum to no aviad as i am a noob o.O :s plz help

http://www.360-hq.com/xbox-tutorials-29.html this guide is preety much how you do it. I had to change the steps around to get mine to work, i had to put in the movie dvd and thennstop the spinning and thennput game in and spin and get magic number from there and my layout also. I think different types of drives will act differently and thats why i had to do it in different order. I would try like the tut says and then if it doesnt work try the other way.

and if you dont want to take your drive apart there is no other way to do it unless you get a different drive such as kreon or 360 drive with 0800 fw
