Ok, now that 1.51 is avail and someone said that they have already backep up H.A.W.X. and loaded it fine, will there still be a 1.6 in the works?
Also, I use XBC Backup creator to rip all my games and Schtrom360XtractV3.4 to verify and ImgBurn to burn, will I need to use other programs with new firmware?

1.6 firmware will have the same stealth as 1.51 all 1.6 is adding is 0800 support. Which means you can rip the Xbox 360 games with the Xbox 360 drive.
As for checking stealth images with Schtrom or any other application that scans for stealth I would assume you will have to wait till an update comes out with wave3 support. But any image that doesn't have wave3 should still work in older versions of the applications.

Very True,
Nothing will pass 3rd wave test yet we have to wait for ABGX new version and DVD mullter to upgrade to scan wave 3.
As for 1.6 it was being worked on but had to stop due to the 3rd wave partition comming out so they made 1.51 and now gone back to 1.6
1.6 is 1.51 with 0x800 supporet and some more bug fixes..
Jungle flash alot more stable and works like a champ still im my eyes.
Reflashing insanly easy and took me 2 min to flash max and that was me reading the tut to make sure I didnt miss anything.

Jungle Flasher is very simple to use when you get everything set up properly.
Took me a while to get it set up in Vista but once I worked that issue out it is as easy as loading dummy.bin loading iXtreme 1.51 erase then write.
Hell of allot of time saved when you have multiple drives to reflash.

Ok thanks, so I dont need to wait for the 1.6 if I am using a Sammy SH-D162D drive to rip then and should be safe from the hammer? I currently have 1.5 with a Liteon drive. So 1.51 will load and play wave 3 games? Should I just go ahead and have my box flashed with 1.51 and forget 1.6? I am fairly new to ripping and burning my own games. I just want to be safe as I got hit with the hammer in November and had to buy a new box to be able to play on live, dont want it to happen again.

Yes you should be safe with the new 1.51 firmware. But nothing is 100% guaranteed. They can only do the best they can. If you want a 100% guarantee then don't flash the drive.
Use the banned flashed system to play your backups and use the unflashed new system you have with original game to play on live.

Have you erased the drive firmware yet of the flashed drive?
If not just extract the necessary files from the flashed drive.

Thanks for your replay, the truth is im reaaally new with this, it was a friend who flashed my 360 he had to format his computer so my original firmware is gone.
I have no clue what ixtreme is on i guess is 1.5 he said it was the last updated version that time.
I need to do this myself as my friend is not around, so i would appreciate any help like any tut on how to connect my driver to the pc and so on.
According to some picture i think my driver is a Benq (lite on-phillips)

Download the latest Jungle Flasher and start it. When you get the splash screen click on user guide and it will guide you through the processes.

Haven't flashed for such a long time! This is making me nervous...Hitachi drive...used X360 USB with Connectivity Kit v2 to flash last time. Will this work with JungleFlasher? Read through tutorial but getting confused with all the talk of I/O ports etc...any help would be appreciated

u can use a connectivity kit with the hitachi there is just a special step which will pop up and tell you what to do

How will I know if a game is 2nd or 3rd wave when going to rip? I know eventually all new games will be 3rd wave.

Can some1 pls post the tut of JungleFlasher 1.5.1 , for some reason it won't open saying the adobe acrobat reader i have, can not be used to read pdf on web browser.
