yes, HAWX works fine for me, I've even taken it online.
Just make sure you run ABGX360 on ALL rips before you burn them, level 3 correction. (I've gotten a bad DMI on a few rips, which the default level 2 correction ignored. Level 3 fixed it just fine.)
Don't burn a game unless it passes ALL the tests in ABGX360!
EDIT: Just to clarify, I have 1.51 flashed on my BenQ.

Ok, but i've used level 3 on a few wave 3 games and that doesn't help. Abgx360 with Level 3 simply states that there's nothing that can be done, yet. The exact wording the software uses i'm sure you already know.
I then tried to use iBurn360 for Mac, which seemed to download a patch and apply it to one of the games, as well as actually agree to burn the game (unlike OSx360, which refused to burn the game due to it not passing the Stealth checks and some others) but then when actually burned and inserted into the 360, the 360 only recognizes the rip as dvd and gives me the dvd playback menu.

ABGX360 won't fix a game until the game is entered in to their database. And they don't update the database with prerelease games. They only do it after a game has been officially released.

@ Zion......that is the major reason for releasing 1.51
abgx will patch games missing files but as B pointed out not until the game is released and added to their database

i think zion is taking about patching a wave 3 game to play on 1.5 which isnt the same as patching with abgx just to make stealth. 1.51 was created for wave 3 comp[atibility so patching them to play at all is not needed.

Dude I only ask because I have read in these posts that 1.6 will have more features than 1.51. I am holding out for 1.6 so I dont have to pay my guy twice for flashing. I know that eventually all new releases will be 3rd wave and will need 1.51 or higher to play. Are the extra features in 1.6 worth waiting for if all I do with my 360 is play the games that I rip and burn myself? I dont use my 360 drive for ripping I have a Samsung SH-D162D for my ripping purposes.

hello all im kinda new to this whole updating ur firmware bc i never did it can anyone plzzzzzzzz help me. im using xbox creator 2.5 to do all my back ups of my original games and burning them using kreon samsung sh-d162d dvd-rom drive firmware 1.0 and have had success for a while but now with mlb2k9, hawk and now pop cap arcade hits vol. 2. its giving me issues how do i update my drive to the new 1.51 firmware for these games to wk

hi guys ive been reading through threads I have a 360 with ixtreme 1.41 been able to play backups yada yada yada..fine on live been and hasnt missed a beat
..i have forked out a small fortune on 360s over the last 3 years with video chips crapping out.. green screen and rings of death
unfortunatly Due to my eyes I cannot pull apart things anymore or do the jumperings and all the finicky stuff anymore.
So... long story.. new xbox 360s gotta pay someone to do it.. is getting very expensive..
NOW i want to update my firmware to the 1.61 i have 3 games that need the update is there any way I can do it on dvd than having to fork out more money for this guy to do it for me.

Hey guys well my question is what kind of work can i expect to mod my 360? and is FW flash on dvd drive the only current option?
i've softmoded the original xbox so softmoding and modern pc work i can do.
I tend to buy alot of 360 games so yeah i really need a solution, also theirs been talk of some games are as safe as ever to play on live and some are not,
is this a fw related or game coded related?
can i get the 411 on the 360 modding?

I don't know of a list of games but pretty much all games currently coming out has 3rd wave.
