Missing MUTV & other Channels NTL Ireland

Just to try and explain what I understand to be the situation with missing channels (Sky sports,Movies, LFCTV Adult, ZeeTV etc ).
This is the start of the introduction of Nagra 2/3, and they will gradually change over all channels to the new encryption. They will start with the channels with the least amount of subscription (MUTV, Zee TV, Adult Channels) and then work there way through until all channels are on the new encryption. I am not sure how long this is expected to take, so we will just have to enjoy what we have while we have it.
As far as I know, (which is not very far) this new encryption has not been broken anywhere yet (but I stand to be corrected on that), and nobody knows if it will be or when it will be. There are a lot of rumours going around saying that it has been broken, but there has been no proof of this anywhere.
If the new encryption is broken, it may not be possible to update your current box (it may be but it may not be), so if and when the encryption is broken there might be a need to purchase a new type of box.
This is just my own current understanding of the situation, I am not an expert on this and stand to be corrected, just thought I would post this in an effort to explain the current situation

Nagavision 2 was cracked 2 years ago and nagravision 3 is very close to being opened in a software format,,,I expect a result over the summer, there sould be no need to change receivers provided your receiver is no more than 2-3 years old,

Mutv
These channels have now moved to N3 so it wont matter how many times you scan your box you will not get them back and its only a matter of time before more move up the tree and at the present time there does not look like there is likely to be a fix for a while to come so enjoy what you have for the moment

Its still regional, no new cards or N3 on ch*rus / U*C in North Dublin anyways.

I am suprised how quiet the forums are, think most people won't realise this is happening until the sports and movies channels go.

Hi Lads, I've been gone for a year to Oz just back to find out whats been going on, I spent all day yesterday fixing and updating 3 box's at home, N3 is finally here, it's like judgement day for all the freeviewers (including myself) i've been just reading forums all day this is my first post, ScOuser had a few interesting comments earlier on another thread, so are we going to let the Nt Hell Reign supreme or are we gonna rise up and defeat the beast.I think the Latter I'de say we'll loose our channels for a while but we'll be back up and running by the end of the summer,watch this space

I'm sure they're working on a starview fix but kryptview won't work on starview no.
