Premiere who are carrying Nag 3 in Germany has been breached by hackers - Card only at the moment but hopefully available on EMU very soon.

Only some boxes would handle nag 3. Most of our's would not.

hi i have a few questions regarding nagra 3

1) how is this new system working in ireland? I mean what sort of hardware/software change is required for a customer to view the channels on nagra 3 (I heard that virgin would need to provide customers with new boxes, cards or something wouldnt this cost them alot of money?)

2) So if virgin were to implement this system within the uk how long (a rough estimate) would it take for the switch over

thanks in advance for any answer

In Ireland on N*L its been accomplished via a complete card change, some of the very old boxes needed to be swapped out, but they made up a very small minority of the boxes in circulation.

Setanta Golf
Zee tv
Chelsea
Celtic
LFC
MUTV
Adult channel
Playboy

"The Box" music channel is also gone Freq 395.00(comes up as "Service Unknown") but it is actually still there on another frequency (371.00) and is still called "The Box".

personally I think as soon as there are a "lot" of people "affected" by this changeover there will be a crack.
seems to me there isnt one because it wasnt widely needed before now.
as soon as a company comes out and says "you CANT crack this" then someone WILL !!
Okay, it was implemented on Premiere in Germany and not cracked, but as soon as its widely implemented here and the uk someone will start work in earnest on it !
at least thats my 2 cents
I'll be like most others and hope for the best ASAP !

Story with ya buddy ????

Everyone with The Adult Channel, TVX, Playboy and so on have already recieved their new cards. The Sky Sports channels will be next to go. All channels will be gone April if not May the very latest. There is way to much money in this to just end. Someone will crack nagra3 or the algorithm will be bought or leaked from someone who knows. It will just take time.

OK you have bored us all enough now at this stage and yes you are another "told you so" poster http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/4/755605#4582698

We all knew about this way before you posted about it, you just never bothered to use the search button. Your posts were pure conjecture, posts that were made "LAST YEAR" not 2/3 months ago, held much more credence as they were from a good source.

Now if you want to sit back and watch how we get on in Ireland why not use some of your so called inside knowledge and get us some more info, even better still pass over the fix for N3 as you must have it by now?

Hi Every One, Is there any solution to watch some of the INDIAN TV Channels ( EG: NDTV, SUN TV, ZEE - MUSIC & Cinema ) thru. INTERNET. Is it FREE or subs? If so how much does it cost. I am waiting for the reply.....from Ireland.
