And we were all told the only boxes that would survive, would be linux based, funny that the kryptview is the only box that has come up with a fix for ireland.Time will tell how long it will last as most people are sayin its only gone to N2 not N3 yet.But you gotta take off your hat to the kryptview team, for coming up with a fix so fast.

Yes they will probably follow,so i wouldnt be binning your box yet as has been suggested, and as no box even linux boxes, can work on N3 yet as we have been told, lets hope they dont fully change over for a while yet.

Maybe one day Nagra 3 will be hacked but I think free cable as we have come to know it is a thing of the past - for a long time anyway. Card sharing will be the way forward from now on. Rather than focusing on hacking Nagra 3 I think we should be more focused on making card sharing more widely available and accessible for everyone. As connecting to the internet becomes easier and more and more people get connected I think we will see some light at the end of the tunnel. People are already card sharing Nagra 3 by the sound of it, so technology will evolve which makes it cheaper and simpler to access the channels we desire. As the internet grows, more and more people share their knowledge and experiences for the greater good - free tv for all, thereby reducing gap between the rich and the poor. Even if the difference it makes is only miniscule, its more a matter of principal.

Hi all, if Nag 2 has been compromised and is being used as a stop gap measure until the full roll out of Nag 3 then the Kryptview update must have the Nag 2 keys embedded. edited by ddp

I have been informed that the reason the setanta channels are gone is because upc owe them money and haven't paid up, that is why setanta have withdrawn their channels, they have not been changed over to nagra 3.

Can anyone confirm this or see if they know anyone that has lost them even if they were paying for them?

Does anyone know where I can get these particular keys. I have all the other information programmed into my CAM, all I need is the keys. PM me as posting of such information is forbidden. Thanks in advance
I seriously doubt the people behind the KV box will release this information.

Choices are:
Hack an N2 card and dump the keys.
Disassemble KV firmware.

As far as i know setanta ireland is a free to air channel while setanta 1 and 2 are both subscription channels. So it may be a case that upc have not paid for their subscription channels , Is setanta golf gone as well?

there is PLENTY of information about cardsharing available.
google is a fantastic tool !!!

what a lot of people dont realise is that you have to provide your OWN legal card BEFORE you can join a card share group.
So, the question remains then, is it worth joining a cardshare group if all you have is a sly card, for example, and no motorised dish ???
you wont get anything extra from it without the motorised dish and you are already paying for your own subscription !

as for the current situation, I'd suggest people sit back and relax and stop panicking about it for now.
We still have most of the channels and you can be certain sure that somewhere someone is working hard on a "crack" !!!!

Story with ya buddy ????

also reading on the kryptview threads, the latest fix is bringing in all channels, so i dont think its about upc not paying their subscription to setanta

Is this the truth?Would be great if it was, playboy, the adult channel etc are still workign on ntl mmds so maybe there is a bit of truth to this. I cant see a big compnay like UPC not been able to pay setanta though.

This is not true, why do you think there is a fix out on kryptview and anyone actually paying for setanta/adult/etc has received new card and are receiving channels

When do we think that a fix similar to the one for krytpview will be out for replay lite, eurovox etc.?

Im thinking that it may take them a further 3/4 months to switch off the N2 nad N3 streams,so if someone comes up with a fix it may last us a bit longer.
