I have a 80gb motorstorm ps3 that is giving some disc reading problem
It will read dvd,ps2,data dvd fine but its give problem to read ps3 games.
In order for me to get it to read ps3 game, i have to shack over the dvd drive side of the ps3, sometimes it doesn't work on the first ,second or even third try but once it read the game, it plays fine , no freeze or anything, i can also change the disc and it will read it ...I buy a lens (so call new) but its operate worse than mine , it freeze when it see the ps3 disc , sometime it doesn't.
yet with my lens once it read the ps3 games , it load fine with no freezing ..
Could the Drive ic be the problem ???
I notice that the ic get very hot when the disc is put it (is that normal?) ....http://www.bikudo.com/photo_stock/7405.jpg
I don't have no warranty..
Any help would be great...
