Most modern dual layer burners work, aslong as it is capable of writing DVD-R DL (i think... that will need to be confirmed).
I have three laptops with dual layer burning capabilities, but according to your post, I need to purchase a dvd burner that is flashed with the kreon firmware? What about if I buy an external dvd burner from Costco or some electronics store?
well if you can take the dvd DL burners out of the laptop and take the case off the burner than you can just do the hot swap method go see my tutorial on how its here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGg5l8UGqqU&fmt=18

Thanks.
No, you need a kreon dvd drive to obtain the .iso and .dvd files, then you need to burn them on to a disc with a dvd burner
@ wabashman... is that against the rules... i didn't know, but it is a good site... you can get a free 360 there.

Thanks for the help, Nick, but I don't want to disassemble my laptop in order to remove the DVD DL drive. So I am going to try this tutorial (basically same method). I watched your video tutorial and that one, but I noticed that you got the magic number from the movie DVD, while he got the number from the game DVD. I'm assuming it doesn't matter.
I look forward to reading your reply. Thanks again.
