Managed to sort it in the end by using the XMulleter program with a PAL verson of the game, with Resident Evil V as a reference. Even so, 1.51 not playing third wave games off the bat was annoying.

Like I said previously, ALL NEW games will be wave 3. Are you going to add each game EVERY TIME a game is released? Can we not just use common sense and say from now on every game is wave three, and not need this thread?

This SS contains a value (angle 359) that will cause older versions
of iXtreme to return a detectable bad response! Make sure your drive is flashed
with iXtreme version 1.4 or newer. Alternatively, you may enable the option to
adjust angle 359 for compatibility with iXtreme < v1.4
I got 1.6. And I got this when running UFC through ABGX... I don't have to worry about anything since it says update to 1.4 or newer, right?

hey guys, I'm a newbie here...I have a 360 with a NME chip and I got my samsung flashed drive to read my games. has there been anyone who has found out how to back up the wave 3 games using the kreon drive? if so, can someone point me in the right direction?

I have ixtreme 1.2 and a level 3 game isn't working for me either.

1.2 is very old. I think the bulk of the patches are designed for 1.3 onwards. You should try and reflash if you can.

Yeah, I know it's old, but I don't know if my current backups will work with the new ixtreme, 1.6.

Thats funny because I played ufc undisputed just now and im 100% sure I dont have 1.5 software.I downloaded the file and put 2nd wave files where dvdmulleter said i was missing for the 3rd wave game rebuilt the whole file and it worked great...I didnt go on live however as my xboxlive monthly subscription has ran out =-/So to answer your questions you dont need 1.5 to play a 3rd wave game as im playing ufc undisputed offline on my xbox 360 I believe it has 1.2-1.4 firmware as I had it flashed last year by a guy in japan..

Well, no kidding it'll work if you patch the game. That's the purpose behind this entire thread; to list wave 3 games so people know whether to patch them or not.
How is it you found out how to patch a game but didn't find out playing that game on LIVE is the easiest way to get banned?

So do you mean that all original or retail games (including newer Wave 3)will still be playable in pre-1.51 firmware X360 and only those backup Wave3 games need 1.51 or higher firmware to be playable? One more question - is there any problem if I update to NXE dashboard with a 1.50 firmware X360?

I'm not sure but I can easily test this. What I do know is that it's fine to run the NXE update on any old version of iXtreme, as far as I'm aware it's required to run newer games anyway.
