I ripped Beatles ( Anthology). After using DVDXCopy Xpress I got movie?s files on HD 4.72GB (as I can see from Windows Explorer).
After using InfoEdit (to take out annoying logo) I tried use NERO, but it doesn?t burn because the file is little larger (may be 100-200 Mb) than necessary.
My Question is, could I compress only ONE VOB file ( approximately 1 Gb) from movie ( I have 5 VOB files) to reduce total size of movie OR may be there are other solutions.
Any suggestions?

You can only burn 4.36GB [4450mb] to a blank media (even though the disc will say 4.7GB)...

jeffk43,

We seem to answer this question about 20 times a night - DO NOT WORRY ! It is true, whenever you compress something you THEOROTICALLY lose quality. Many "Newbies" worry about what percent they should compress something - the fact is, using the naked eye (that's terrible isn't it - one would think that even our eyes shouldn't be naked in public - Aaaach, we'll worry about that another time, he, he) Anywho, ya just can't tell the difference with your naked eye!

I have a 19" PC monitor and a large screen (65") TV and no one has ever seen the difference between the original and a backup. You'll see differences on your monitor before you'd see it on TV (even a HDD TV).

If you want a better program for keeping your quality and money isn't an issue, buy DVD2One and it?s companion burner CopyToDVD, although I have them both, I cannot recall what the cost was. Ohhh, and BTW, I use DVD Shrink 90 % of the time :D)

Welcome to the Club :-)
