I have a starview original box in dublin. Could anybody please tell me how to obtain the music & discovery channells on the frequency 394250Khz that have gone missing???

do a factory reset then do a new scan on your box with no splitters try that
or delete the ones that are not working and do a manual scan on 150.000 same applies no splitters on your cable

So an era has ended. Does anybody have any suggestions for what i could do with a couple of starview boxes?

tks fergusrb. I could be wrong but i thought you could connect starview to a pc and use it for recording tv or for networking tv. If so details would be welcomed

i have a starview box(the box super) seems to work fine for a hour then starts rebooting and this goes on and on will it help if i put a differt filmware on it

what firmware do you have on it at the present time
menu >>> system info >>> API version on the box at the present time

right the latest is the v8.04 so try that and see what happens
also make sure your box is well ventilated and nothing on top of the vents as this will cause it to over heat
you should find the file ion the eko site check there

go to the very top of the page and on the top you will see a tab called private messages as long as you are signed in you will be able to read them or go to your email and a message will be in there all you have to do is click the link in it

Is anyone else missing RTE 1 & RTE 2 TG4 TV3 on The Box Super
Tried rescan. Have latest firmware. 8.04? Any ideas.??
