dont know f you have a box in every room or just a cable sending the free irish tv,but with sky or free to view you would need a box in each room that has a tv.you need 1 dish pointed at sky satelite,(you dont need sky,unless you want it)a quad lnb on the dish,this gives you 4 outputs and 4 seperate signals,direct a cable connected to each output to the desired rooms,and connect a box to each cable and to your tv/video.dvd recorder.this might seem expensive but you could buy 3 or 4 cut prices free to view boxes and adish and have it installed for no more than ?350 if you look around.if you want sky have sky in the living room,still fit a quad lnb with cables(you could do this yourself)buy afew cheap free to air boxes or second hand sky boxes and connect them your self.second hand sky boxes go for as little as ?40 each,you could even buy a dish yourself new or second hand and fit it your self(if you feel that you can do it yourself)hope that helps a little.

sounds good....any ideas what a good dish and box to get .. at a reasonable price
you can buy a sky dish and brackets for about seventy euro dont know about receivers maplin sell a range but are expensive good place to get a name of dish and then search the net
You can probably find a second hand dish for cheap on adverts or gumtree, but if you want to do multi room, as piopat said, you definitely need the quad LNB. Not difficult at all to do yourself, you just need a decent sat finder (?20)approx..........................And then your'e off on a whole new learning curve again.
Just one thing to note, if you install it yourself, make sure you tighten all the bolts fully, Or one gust of wind and your'e back to square one.
