I tore apart my blue ray due to the fact my buddies kids put a punch of pictures inside. Got them all out, but when I try to put a game in it's like it is blocked and won't go in. The two plastic tabs that appear to block the disc are circled. Any help appreciated.

Tried that several times and same deal. Any other ideas?
Unfortunately (for you, but luckily for me) i have never had to take my PS3 apart, so I can't offer any advice other than the guide, and general common sense. Try to see what's stopping the drive going back together, and (Carefully!) try to realign it to make it fit.

Hmm. Where is this exactly? How do I move it? Can you give me an example?
I am not sure what part this is, can you circle it? I am so close, but it just won't let me put a disc in as it is blocked. I got all the junk out of the drive, but now I'm stuck here. Can you be more specfic? Thanks in advance.
two solutions, 1 put the drive back together and hit eject, hold eject until it drops the pins, this is a manual eject, your problem is you opened your drive with a disk in it, so your ps3 put up the pins so you dont "double disk". option 2, put your rom back together with a disk in it (much harder to do as you must line all plastic parts into their support guides) once you power up it will eject said disk and drop the blocks
