Has anyone done anything different with there system the second time around. after changing laser deck or just the laser. I pretty sure my deck works but ordered whole new thing works great now. Like i know i used to turn the power off in the back while playing a game stupid i guess lol but trying to watch how much i play. always ejecting the game now. stuff like that or changed nothing just wondering.

The best thing you can do is look after the PS3 in general. Keep it in the open so it doesn't overheat, keep it as dust free as possible and try to move it as little as possible.

Also, I would advise you to change the disk as little as possible, especially for the first 5 - 10 mins after switching it on. If you eject it in this time the laser will still be reading, and if you regularyly eject it like that it could eventually cause the laser to burn out.

Hopefully you'll be lucky and have no trouble with the laser :).
