Hi, the fact you have a bt voyager, I presume you are with BT? that being the case rather than spending money on a new router just call BT and renew your broadband contract and get a new BT homehub 2 for free, depending what option you go for you can even get a free hub broadband phone with free calls? the new BT home hub is a great router with an excellent wireless range since getting this i have not had any problems with my PS3 online gaming, had a belkin previous and kept on getting kicked off network! just an option for you..

Hi, Thanks for answering my question.I was with BT previously but now live in the republic of ireland and i kept the router.I use the router wired to my ps3 through the ethernet so it wouldnt matter about how good the wireless connection was.I just wanted to know if there is any difference in the different routers using the ethernet connection.I sometimes use my laptop wirelessly that is the only reason i need the wireless router but this is just for general surfing.
Thanks

I use a BT Voyager wireless router (and connect my PS3 wirelessly), and have had very few problems. I didn't even need to mess around with the NAT types etc, got NAT Type 2 straight out of the box :).

If you're using it wired I'd say you would be fine with any router.
