Connectivity kit is a physical piece of hardware. Jungle flasher is software. if the drive hasnt been probed before it will need to be done which usually requires a ck and probe unless you use the homemade version(see sticky top of main 360 forum)

Thanks for your help stealthdf, looks like ill have to save up to buy the probe and kit cos they cost about £26 in the uk.

i'm getting slightly impatient i have games to backup and really not in the mood to reflash my benq with 0800 for a day then again back to 1.6. and kreon wont be in for another week. *sigh*

So has there been a re-pack of the lite-on firmware yet? Where can I get a firmware pack with 1.6 in to use with jungle flasher?

dunno if this has been asked already but I was wondering is the active iso the same one in jungle you burn on one layer and use to unlock sammy drives?

i know this and i've gotten it into 0800 mode(recognized by pc) but the curent versions of xbc and schtrom360x won't dump due to an error reading some sector which i forget. i get errors at 3-4%. ive been hearing the same errors from everyone using 1.6.
of course i could just be doing something wrong, if anyone has suggestions or better yet answers i'd appreciate it.

like it has been said multiple times before, new buils of schtrom and xbc need to be made, which is currently in the process... so you just have to wait.

Oh because I think I just restarted the ck3 and the JungleFlasher and saw that the drive was PLSD again on the left. Shutting the drive off will take it out of vendor mode.

Ok.. So I've upgraded from iXtreme 1.4 to 1.6. I'm having the same problem as others have said with the disc "lagging" on reading the disc and then it saying "play dvd". Yet others said they were just having the problem with Wave 3 discs. I have this problem with all games. They all worked flawlessly befor the flash. Im currently usinf 1.51 with no problems. Oh and im using a Lite-On drive. Any help would be great, Thanks
oh yea, and no I'm not using the early release, it is the "Re-packed" release. Plus ive tried reflashing and still no luck..

The iX 1.6 only reads at 12x. If you have a bad burn, dirty or failing laser, running at 12x only amplifies the problem. What speed was your iX 1.4?

12x is the default. it was found slower drives speeds are not good for the drive or online play. im not for sure but im gonna say the activate iso is not the same as what your mentioning. but its a small file you could always just try it and compare the 2 instead of waiting hours/days for a reply

then dont use a verb. test it with a single layer disc like you were asking about.

wasn't me asking bout that, if it is anything like the active iso for unlocking sammy drives thenit will need to be on a dual layer but burnt on one layer. It's ok though I'll just buy a cheap one it's only a boot disk.

Just Tried to flash 1.6 to a lite-on. I'm using Jungle with the repack. What do I rename it to so that jungle auto loads it? Or do I just load it and press spoof sauce to target?

i wouldnt spoof the sauce unless it has extra basil and some salt in there already....wait did you means source?
