you guys, I'm so sorry.. I FAIL epically. I took out the drive and read it directly and it clearly says: SH-D163B, I have no idea why I had put 162B. Wow, all this time searching around, wasted. I'm going to try and get the original samsung firmware, then reinstall 163B kreon. I'll tell you if it works or not, thanks.

hello again, sorry for the triple post lol, but after realizing that I indeed have the SH-D163B drive and not the 162b as I had thought earlier, I went on trying to install kreon firmware on it but with no success. I keep on getting a "drive not compatible" message and after googling around I found people with the same problem but offered no solution. One guy said he ended up using another card besides the 6421. I have tried disabling everything in the bios except the card and yet it won't work. If anyone knows how to fix this without having to buy another card, it'd be great.. thanks.
