Hi,
SD card functionality is a must.
Wii ? or will my Wii act like an un-modded console.

If you have HBC and a cIOS installed for a backup loader then use this guide HERE to update to 4.0.

also, is the cIOS the cIOS_fix.wad - I have installed that because I followed the "October 23rd Wii Fix by ?a_running_pir8?" to get the HBC on my wii originally, but how can I check I still have it installed?

cIOS is like cIOS36_rev9 wich allows WiiGator and USB Loader to work.

If you have cIOS36_rev6 installed then yes a newer cIOS36 revision will install over it.

cool, thats done now, but I've just got one more problem.
Dell wireless router. I cant get my Wii to access the internet.
