I`ve just ordered a s***view the box super usb pvr can any one give me a link to what i need to flash it as I have never done it before would really apreciate any help

if you go back to forums and click into home theatre digitaltv discussion you will see a new post bby me hooter007 its about 10 posts down you will see beginners guide to flashing the box usb

that is the latest file and only 1 that will give you all the chanells follow my instructions and do it slowly so you dont make any mistakes if you get stuck just get back on if im not there some1 else will happly help you
are you on n*l or ch*r*s
also make sure that the cable is going direct into your box if on n*l, eg:no splitters.

Hi Hooter.
Sorry for ignoring your question!
firstly i am sure the box is not clone.
channels missing as bbc 1,2,3,4 utv ch4 attherace----as far as i know.
I have tried the new file u put up but still got the same missing channels.
this is what i done:
download file onto ubs (ubs data....bin)
download file into the box---reboot
done an auto scan under ntl----no spliter
menu 1570-turn emu key on and set default key.
check the missing channels again----no joy.
Did i miss a step somewhere?

it interfers with your box when you are flashing your box and you wont get a full signal when d.loading chanells, also you could do a bad flash & get interference! just where the cable comes from the wall put direct into the back of your box
sorry have to go for about 30 min to collect my kids "ill b back"lol,if you get stuck meanwhile some1 else will help.

are you sure you are not putting the old file back on by mistake each time you flash also when you flash you have to press ok on remote
cant really talk you through it at the moment have to go collect me kids il be back on in half an hour and il talk you through it, leave your computer on and il pm you as soon as im back.

That file didnt work for me either but on page 15 of this thread scoucer gives another link to a file that did work from another site. It might also help you. there might be a fault in that particular libery???.

always helps to say what file you loaded and did u do a factory reset every time you reflashed your box and keycode to on.

hi all.
i have flashed with the file hooter provide me.....update date 04/07
when i flashed it i did not press ok, it automatic reboot itself.
and still not working!!!!

put this 1 on its the data of my box and just seeif the chanells are there straight after you flash it i reset mine put this on and all there straight after flash does your box say data downloading when you flasg then turn of and back on? here is the file

hi hooter

downloaded the file "all channel for box ubs data.bin" onto ubs
upload this file into the box....reboot itself
done a factory rest
ran a auto scan
turn on emu key and set dafault key
check the channels again.....not there.
do i have to upload some special file?
incase u need to know the system version of the box:
model id:c500
s/w version: 1.10
boot version: b-11
date 5 june 2009.

hooter if your there can u check your file links the beta files listed are 512kb all channels for box usb data. bin. and the new one 919kb box super usb beta new. bin
wondering if that is why some people are not getting all channels back.

that is just the data file of my own box, i have the 912kb one there i only tell people to d.load the data 1 if they are still missing some chanells after they put the bin file on, check it out

ive noticed the adult and 1 or 2 others dont come in when i flash a box or 2 on on the beta one, even after a manual or automatic scan, unless you put the frequency codes in on manual scan

roy try delete all your channels first and then do a factory reset and try it again, in a bit of a rush be back in 45 min

guys - is anyone having trouble with the aspect ratio ? i have it set to 4:3 and full. Some channels display distorted. Was using SV3 before and had no issue with this ... is it the box or the file ? using beta new new file. have tried 4:3 with letter, 16:9 with center and full but cant get some channels looking right. viewing on a 20 inch beko lcd tv.
any thoughts ?
