Hi sir
Im planning to buy Xbox 360 i would like to ask some for tips on what should i look for in buying xbox 360.
i dont know whats jasper, falcon, or xenos for, what are they ? can i play homebrew games here? please help me and give me some idea regarding xbox 360 im noob when it comes to xbox !! what is the best chips for xbox 360 i learn from internet that xbox360 elite is the latest is ther specific chips that i should look for is it jasper that is better? thanks in advance!!
Buy a 360 with the Jasper chipset, it is the most advanced chip and is unlikely to get RRoD. The elite console is the latest console, but all new xbox 360's come with jasper chipset (pro, elite, arcade)
Do you mean 'Can i play homebrew games on my xbox 360'? If it's stock firmware then no. You need to flash your console with ixtreme 1.6 if you want to play burnt games.
Btw I know you're new but you need to write proper, full sentences. Nobody is going to help you if they can't understand you. Also, use the search button before posting, forum members get really annoyed when the same questions are asked repeatedly (a thread like this usually comes up atleast weekly)
I wouldn't consider playing burnt games as homebrew. homebrew is running unsigned code. I think the only thing that you could ever do was run linux but that was a while back and you cant do it anymore on new 360's. If you mean homebrew like emulators and stuff like that then no.
thanks for the help guys, now i know what to buy. when i said homebrew before, i meant some games that is not a original, cause original cd are too expensive. Is there a way i can enjoy my xbox without buying them?
again thank you very much!!! its really a big help extending your knowledge, quite few people spend their time answering this kind of question. sorry for my bad english i was at the office when i post my thread, i dont have enough time to run over them again.

If you want to play backups, you have to burn them to a DL DVD. Retail games are $60.00 which is a cost of a pack of 50 DVD's or close.
