Look, if your PSP is 4.01 or above out of the box, it has a TA-088v3 motherboard, so you can't mod it. You should have bought a Phat. So, now your options are this: 1) Use ChickHEN to get 5.03 GEN-A or 2) Use ChickHEN and cfwe 3.10 to get 5.03 M33 (which is not real m33).

Here is how you go about doing that:

If your psp shuts all the way down, then you will have to do the ChickHEN again and install GEN-A or cfwe 3.1 again. Hope this helps!
