i have a Japanese ps3 20g (which iv upgraded o 160gb)

and when i go to but a new ps3 lens people say make sure you have the correct model. how can i check this.

im pritty sure its KES-400aaa if that's what they mean.

On the large, flat side panel (or the bottom of the PS3, if you're laying yours horizontally), you'll find a sticker with all of you're PS3's information on it.

To the top of this sticker, you will see your PS3's model number.
