NEW HD CHANS
HD Content is just that, the only box that will show HD chans is a HD box, such as the Eurovox EX7000 listed above, other standard boxs will pick them up but wont display them.
WHERE to BUY?
Use google to find where you can buy them, google Skywonder, TMC, Wizzard sat, Sat Kings etc, you will find what you want
FIXS for Older boxs
There is no fix for the older starviews, SV1, THE BOX, SUPERBOX and starview PVR older twin tuner box, older Eurovox, RED, BLUE or MAX, Replay Lite, Digivox silver and XL, nor has there been any news of one.
If there is something it will it be posted, but please give people a rest with the thread hijacks, start reading the posts before creating a new on on the same thing, makes life easier for all and you will find people will be happier to help with genuine problems
you might add awsatellites to the list of sellers, genuine guy

whats the story with "satandcable" are they just selling clones in the last 2 days, 3 posts from people saying they got clones,

Yes by the looks of it with a very limited amount of genuine boxes thrown into the works. When I say very limited I mean 20 to 30, all the rest are clones.
More so in the SV4 model.

can anybody answer this question please, does the eurovox max v have a physical reason for no n2 fix or is it purely a financial decision by eurovox to try force people to update?

max range & the newer N2 compatible eurovox's are made by different companys & different programers, you must remember that these companys are a long way away & are the first link in what can be a long supply chain, the company who made the Max range may not even exist anymore.

to be fair lenny without getting into the whos and nots, they could have fixed the last range of Max V, the firmware wouldnt be to disimilar to what is being used, for me a shot in the foot and dint do themselves favours in the long run.

absolutely,....every dodgy box ever made could in theory be upgraded to N2, most of them seem to have the same processor & support chips anyway but I still think we are somewhat naive looking for some kind of long term loyalty from manufactures/coders who by the very nature of their activaties renders them unreliable from the word go.

aye they do mate, so I think at least SV and Euro could have fixed the Maxv and the Super no problem, the older ones, fair enough, think they done a lot of damage to their name by not doing it,

agree lenny, the very nature of the boxs and the nature in which they work changes all the time, but, I think they could have done somthing more the last time with the boxs mentioned, but thats just me. They are here to make a profit, not friends,

hey jus been readin the last few posts, very interesting! if in theory they can fix the maxv box, do you think they ever will? for me i hope they will cos i have one, but i doubt they will cos it forces people to either fork up money for digital tv, or upgrade box, i know which one ill be doing! to the experts here, which would be the best replacement, for a cho'@s area? thanks and keep up the good work!

MMDS - you need a box t type, EURVOX T, THE BOX T, DIGIVOX T etc
On true cable, any of the ones on the front page, but the Kryptview is the best supported etc
Any no, no word of the MAX V being fixed
