We got our ps3 about a week or so ago, Im not sure what the model is but it was from a high street store and came with an 80gig drive and is PAL if that helps..
I tried one of our old ps2 games today and it told me ps2 games were not supported.. :(
Its not a big deal but I thought they were supported on the models with 80 gig drives for some reason i thought it was the 40 gig models that didnt allow ps2 games to run??
Im guessing I have it wrong but can some one confirm if i can play ps2 games and point me to a thread if there is one?
there were 2 80 gig models, made, the one that came with motorstorm, and used chrome and not silver paint, and the new ones, which use silver paint, u bought a new 80 gig, which they no longer support ps2 games, and also it says it right on the damn box that it doesnt support ps2 and the first pages of the manual.
I never got to see the box or manual I just foot the bills and try and fix it when it goes wrong...
I did read in a thread in here that the 80 gig would play the older games and then i read another thread that said different so just wanted to ask as with other consoles there are so many types but I should have looked at the box eh lol
