Unfortunately there are going to be plenty of people either posting to wind people up because they think it's funny or else trying to sell off the stock of boxes they are stuck with.
Don't believe any of it!
Nagra 3 is here - there is no fix and if there is it will be all over the forums. The only people that are telling you it isn't nagra 3 will be the people that are trying to rip you off.

Mate you are talking a load of Bull mate, the Movies, Sports, and Disney have all been moved to N3, and at the present time N3 has not been opened, although people are working on it now, but as Evastar has said it will be a while how long is anyone's guess.
SO AT THE PRESENT TIME THERE IS NO FIXES FOR ANY BOXES IN THE UPC AREAS OF DUBLIN, OR SOME OUTLYING AREAS EITHER.
SO DO NOT PURCHASE ANY BOXES FOR THEM AREAS AS THEY WILL NOT WORK ON THE ABOVE

its starting in the lim*r*ck area on ch*r*s lost bbc1,bbc2,bbc3,bbc4,utv,ch4,sky1,sky2,more4,living,comedy,scifi,alibieuronews,bloomberg,natgeo, these went today on my starview and went last night on my kryptview surely if these were changed to n3 both would have gone off at the same time not a day apart , ah well blank screen by the weekend id say

Try a new scan on your Kryptview then you will know, many have moved freq.

There not gone if people would just search on here, they would see the answer, they have moved freq that's all, a rescan will sort the prob.

e45 your the man a simple rescan sorted the kryptview , my starview still losing channels though do we need new firmware to fix that do u think

Try scanning that box with no splitters, and that should do it.

Star view USB delivered last friday, I loaded software on Saturday, and S*y Movies & Sports vanished on Monday. Sad or what? Should I keep or bin ? along with my Eurovox ? With NTHell in Dublin.

If you are on NTL they wont, but try a rescan with no splitters on, cable straight from wall to box.

That i dont know mate, i would love to be able to say, but as it has never been cracked, god only knows but it does give a better chance now, as more programmers will be working on it, to see who will get it first i would say.

Please can someone help me.
I have an older system The Box-- normal scart/3 colour ports in the back---similar sizt to Starview 4 but no USB.
It works fine. Some one gave it to me last Jan from Work and now he's left..
I wanted to know the firmware version and where i would need to get the latest f/w if all goes wrong in the future..just to be safe..
This machine obviously needs to f/w to be put on via 9pin serial p-ort of laptop...
I have never done it before...please send me forum/link for future ref.
The Tech info on the menu shows:-
The Box
APL V 4.55 e_E
Boot Ver:7
4/12/08
Does this mean f/w v.7 is installed?
