Film Fresh has partnered with DivX Inc. and major movie studios to offer a download-to-own service that sells downloads in the DivX format. Users will be able to download content provided by Warner, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures and Paramount from the street release date and play them on any DivX-enabled devices. Just one problem with that...the net is full of DivX movies made from DVDs that people purchased, and spending money for a low quality DVD rip is just going to encourage people to "stick it to the man" even more.
