Oh come on dude, you are a member, meaning that you have passed the newbie stage, which means that you should know how to use the search function.
Also the fact that the ability to play PS2 games was removed on the old version PS3, which is common knowledge, what makes you think that it would be implimented on the slim.

sanecrazy, it wasn't rude. It just wasn't. Say it was if it makes you feel better, but it wasn't.
Also, it's a bit pretentious of you to assume that just because you don't care about BC, it means that no one does. I care about BC. Enough people obviously care about BC for it to still be a relevant topic of discussion.

I did say maybe im wrong and the original question was is the PS3 bc which i answered correctly. I tried to throw in a bit extra to help him which is more than the second poster did.
And this guy going on about his thread of shame thread every chance he gets does my head in.
If you dont wanna answer a question just dont comment im sure the mods are quite capable of closeing a thread if they wish.
Kaj while you are right technically about there being more PS3's (by 1 sku) having BC I think it is fair to say that the intention of what was meant was simply the 20, 60 & early 80gb's where BC. But this is a moot point and is off topic with the icing being this thread has run it's course...I'll leave it open (for now) but play nice guys. K?
