Oh I agree mate nowt has been switched nor prob will be for a while, but cards have been posted alright, perhaps ya havent got yer card yet, not doubting that, but I got one the guys who did to send me pic to confirm and he is in the yorkshire area, now for everyone to get them, install them and do the necessary it will take a while

I have seen a post on another forum claiming that logs of the new encryption prove it is NOT N3 but a modified N1. Whatever it is, it's unlikely that the testing and switch out would be completed this Year. I remember people getting letters in 2004 stating that analogue would be switched off "Soon" - 5 Years later and it's not totally switched off yet.
You can wait and see what actually happens in the coming Months and possible Years - or you could run up and down the street wearing a sandwich board stating "The End is Nigh" :)

If you believe all the rumours that were posted as fact, then the whole UK was N3 on October 31st and then switched to NDS Yesterday - that's why I don't believe much of what gets posted about encryption changes.

neither do I and not without them backing it up with where they got the info from.
"my cousins friends sisters uncles dog" shite doesnt wash as info and neither do people who sell them making statements about encryption and what not, all it does is to confuse people more, so they can flog as many as they can.
A lot of people who make posts like that are doing it for their own end, either to stop folk buying them or to get folk to continue to buy em, its learning to read between the lines in the end. A lot of "posters" on here are from both camps, they know who they are and peeps would be silly not to know that.

ive not been on here for a while and its the same old panic setting in,if they go off its no big deal as we have certainly had our money`s worth out of it,theres some clever people out there and one day there will be another fix to start the ball rolling again.

Hi all Leeds starting as of 16th november got a letter eariler this week stating if I hadn't got a new card by the 16th then ring them and new smart card arrived yesterday.... also heard from a good source that leeds are changing first but not sure to what .....

Hi guys sorry for my earlier rant but just need to explain that i neither buy or sell boxes, it was only meant as a word of warning, didn't want to cause any mass hysteria, but glad to see you got your letter Tony i, just call it an early christmas CARD.
