This is pretty dissapointing, mostly because I have all Liteon drives, and would love to not use that activate disk anymore.
Perhaps I'll pick up a Benq.

im really thinking thats the way to go, think about it. All of the IX 1.5 1.51 1.6 1.61 had securty check which would make it slower to reconise the disc or something like that would would flag the xbox to get it banned.

Or they thought it was complete, and discovered an issue in testing that they aren't sure how to fix.

Or they thought it was complete, and discovered an issue in testing that they aren't sure how to fix.
This is most likely the case. I mean, it IS completely new firmware so they gotta do it from scratch.

Things you all need to realize. LT is not going to be (if it ever sees the light of day) a guarantee of never getting banned from XBL! If you want to play backups and never worry about the ban hammer, get a 2nd 360 for strictly playing off-line and when you do, put a BenQ drive in there with the non-stealth firmware. No crap activation.iso disc to worry about and no having to wait for C4E to release LT which means no more waking up to disappointing twit updates.

I hate to say it, but this confirms that the team is keeping the firmware from us. You know they have a working firmware, they're just holding out because they got greedy and want to make money off of it. I bet they finished the firmware a long time ago, but jungle knows as soon as they release it publicly, ms will block it again. I could careless, I've already got another console for playing online; I haven't went on my flashed console since the ban wave so technically I'm not "banned" (just been playing backups offline).
Greed is an ugly thing, this proves it.
If anyone from teamjungle reads this I hope you know that as soon as you start charging for this firmware, MS will come after you; and you'll be in deeper shit than you even thought possible. Selling THEIR firmware that you modified is beyond illegal.
Like I said, I'm not really that pissed about the release date being held back, I saw it coming.

It would wind me up to seeing people selling/making money from YOUR firmware, why shouldn't they cash in.
Although saying that I see no way they can do this now though, since everyone knows how to read of liteons. If they release it it will just get read and passed on.
If anyone important is reading this thread, If it does become available I will donate a few £ to you as a private user.
