Wow, I can't believe that the Noughties are about to end in couple of hours time. It is quite mind-boggling to think that our site, AfterDawn, has existed through this whole decade - and then some (as our regulars remember, we celebrated our site's 10th anniversary in June). Jan. 13 will be 4 years that I have enjoyed Ad! Happy New Year to Ad and all it's members. I have high hopes that 2010 will be a prosperous New Year for Ad, and all of it's members!

My very first visit after your site was recommended to me and I catch you in error. The new decade does not start until the end of year 2010, not the beginning of it. 2010 is the 10th year. 2011 begins the next decade. The same thing happened when the year 2000 rolled around. The 21st century did not beginning until 1 minute past midnight on January 1, 2001. Check it out. What do I win???

Hehe, actually it is the end of a decade,for Afterdawn, since the site was founded 10 years ago, in 1999...Happy New Year anyway!!

just a friendly warning too.. I have been warned off 6 people now about suspicious activity on the demonoid tracker.. I tried to up a totally legal file and got error after error until the "deleted by moderator" message... my router logs show some very suspicious connection attempts while trying the ups. so maybe better to avoid until further notice eh?

Been here for a few years now I think, around the beginning of the Blu-Ray/HD-DVD battle more or less. A while back my past account "vinny13" magically changed it's password on me or something, and recovery was broken, but I still stuck around :P

Some be moan that AD has gotten worse over the years and I do not really see it look at the big names like Ars Tech its gotten more user friendly and perhaps less stuffy now I will admit AD dose not have the best of writers but frankly for what AD brings in IE the size of the site so meh its a non issue as you guys try and keep it real even if you skate around somethings on your buttered toast :P
But seriously its the fact you try and not be a bland antispectic site thats afraid of tis users by hiding from them that I love it here!
DRD and the rest of the staff best of luck with the years to come!!

ive know abot afterdawn since 2004 but joined on 05 and have only done 15 post since then counting this one. I'm too lazy to post lol. But i love reading comments i read every single one and this is my homepage and has been for 4 years now. Love the site. It helped me way back when i learned about dvd copying plus some. Im no longer a noob in any modding thing thanks to this site. Love u lots afterdawn. Keep thte good stuff coming and happy new year
