I got a quick question if i patch a backup with a orignal game id will my ps2 get banned from online if the orignal game is online at the same time my backup is online? Say if i rented the game from blockbuster or somewhere like that and tons of people use the same game. So i was just wondering if this is a promblem.

Hey suds,
I had that same error. Im not sure how this worked but i turned put my dms3 chip on sleep it read the backup and I was still able to play online.

Is there a site that has all the DNAS ID codes for all the online games instead of using the disc ID utility?

yes there is, but it is illegal so those sites have to take it down.

even if you did find one of those sites, your ps2 would be banned for using one of the id's.

Hey i found away how to not get your ps2 banned, if you have a normal ps2 online game you can keep using that same id code on every online game you get, trust me it works.

Hey i cant get this disc id utiltly cd or dvd to work in my ps2 i dont know if i am burning it wrong or if i got the wrong file i dl it from the site it doesnt work when i burn it onto a dvd or a cd i dont know what to do about it the dvd disc id utiltly looks like it needs to be ran with a open with

Try this, when the screen says insert disc after you booted the disc id utility, press eject, insert original, then hit x. This is mainly for the flip-top users
PS2 v4 Flip Top/SMD cd v3.0 dvd v2.0
Dvd Loader
Dvddecryptor
Alcohol 120%
Disc Id Utility cd/ Id Patcher

I could not get it to work on my PS2 either. What mode to you put it in or what do you hold on boot up for a DMS3 chip?

Does anyone have the DVD version of Disc ID?? I am using no mod chip.. I have a slide card and swap magic and my Swap Magic CD doesn't seem to be working... help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a modchip installed into your PS2? If so, you will need to turn it off to avoid that DNAS error.

yeah dude that goes in your ps2 to get the ids the other file that should have been on the file was patcher but it must have been blocked by hotmail i will resend in a zip.

hi i am new to mod chips. Ok i know how to download games from the internet (ps2 games) but for some reason u cant play online(DNAS ERROR -420) i was wondering can u rent games and then copy them using nero?
