ok so i've got a PStwo slim style console chipped, not sure what chip. Im using disk ID utility from boot, loads up , swap in my GR2 original nothing but 00000s

Anyone using a PStwo slim and getting this to run?
Anyone getting a DNAS number from GR2?

Hints on my chip so far with out opening the case up are:

Slim PS2
Hold power from off 1-2 secs then release for sleep mode/ Power normal for chip on.

Thanks for looking.

Maybe I will open the case

yeah the '0000000' that happened to me but you have to keep on trying. just keep on hitting the button to recreate the ids, which i dont remember the name of,
any how if you keep on selectin that button you'll c zeros for a couple of times and then the real id and then if you keep on selecting it zeros again and then the id and so on so on, but the id doesnt change is the same. unlike with a burnt copy the id would be changing.

the image patcher patches images. the inserter requires you to bust open the image and patch individual files.

the image patcher is a lot easier, but there are a few games that require you to use the inserter.

Thank you for useful information so far, but I wonder.....

1. Is there a program that totally "clones" the games with the id for online gaming intact? for example "game x copy" and "game cloner"..
2. Anyone have a link to a site thats in detail tells you have to connect your ps2 into a home network. So that you can insert images directly to your ps2 without taking out the harddrive constantly...?
3. Last to "sly 61019" (since it seams like you know best;) The link you have mentioned earlier; does that contain the dvd or cd version of "discid"?

I love fast responses.....

online ps2 gaming, tell me in detail please...

read carefuly and u will get it right

if u have a modded ps2,switch off ur mod chip and get swap magic.with ur original, get the disc id utility 2 see the dnas id.now, save the online game in an iso with isobuster(or as i prefer, sonic recordnow)and download disc id insertor.open it up and load the iso.scan it,then type the id u pulled out from the original.patch it,then burn ur game and play online.sadly though,im in malaysia and they only have pirated cds so i wanna patch the dnas without having to buy another dvd-r cuz they r expensive here.any one tell me how 2 patch using the ps2 itself!?

did some long re-search on DNA$ Disc IDs it seems it's possible to post partial DNA$ Disc IDs again! But this time we do it a little different, only the last 3 digit sets from a official Disc ID may be posted not the complete Disc ID!! Because then $ony can block those IDs what we dont want of course

With those last 3 digits peoples can create there own Disc IDs for the other 2 missing digits, because it uses a hexdecimal number between 0-9 and or A-F which can be generix (thats the online key for every seperate user) the other 3 digit sets which we give around are region and game identification.... If you post your last 3 digit sets around you wont risk of getting banned by $ony because they dont have your full DNA$ Disc ID, and they are not able to ban you by those last 3 digits because then it would ban all the players which own that game

So peoples post your Disc IDs like this:

SLES/SLUS/SLPS_012.34
(Size = 00000.00 bytes)
Disc ID = XX XX 01 23 45

NOTE: The Size listing is for the ELF size, not the game size!

And warning if you post a full Disc ID or request IDs you will get banned! Also FAKING the last 3 digits from a game will get you banned, or posting Disc IDs in other threads besides this one only. So start posting those partial Disc IDs again guys...
