Hi All I'm having problems with the burning of DVD.

At the end around 97% of the burn i get a

WRITE ERROR
COULD NOT PERFORM END OF DISC AT ONCE
BURN PROCESS FAILED

Could someone please advise what to do to fix this problem?

I'd recommend trying without using Disc At Once. Are you letting DVD Shrink burn automatically to Nero or are you loading the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders up in Nero after you decode with Shrink manually? If you're doing it manually I'd definitely take off Disc at Once. This should work well if you're computer is a bit older since Disc At Once can tax a system pretty nicely.

Few things: Have you ever updated your aspi layer? I would get those same error messages. Another option is to cut out Nero. Try the combination of DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. Last thing is I would buy some rw's until you get this staightened out.

When using Shrink and Decrypter.
Open Shrink, open disc, click "backup!", change target destination to "ISO Image File", check box to Launch DVD Decrypter, click ok.

I had this problem too but gave up due to lack of knowledge. Now I'm using CloneDVD and it works a treat!

ASPI is the interface between your burner and the rest of your system and if it isn't up to snuff it can be the source of many problems.

ForseASPI 1.7 is a good one. Once you download and extract find INSTASPI in the folder, run it then reboot.

Now you can verify the install with ASPICHK. All four entries should read ver. 4.60.

If you still have problems try the same process except run KILLASPI first, reboot then do the same as above.
