Hello all, I have been lurking for a while trying to dig up as much information as possible before registering.
Lurking and patience paid off for me. I used DVDshrink 3.1 and Nero 6 for disc backup with pleasing results. My only problem was getting the media to play in all of my players. Trial and error brought me to Sony DVD+R, which works on all of my players.

1 question - did you shrink it into a .iso file or a regular file before using Nero?

and burned straight to disc. In other words I wasn't paying attention, sorry.
