Sony: PlayStation 4 games already in development

According to Game Informer Australia, Sony is already preparing games for the upcoming PlayStation 4, the console which has not even been announced yet.
Rumors of the PlayStation 4 have been around since the start of the year, with most expecting a 2012 launch.

it doesn't matter the end result will always be the same old Barking about who or whats better. it usually ends up with threads that could have seen an intellectual conversation on Sony: PlayStation 4 games already in development being closed.
with that being said. i'm sure its quite normal for development kits to be handed out years before a new console is released. to allow time for practice at the new Game development mechanics. i don't think Sony is going to stick with the cell Processor, i think they'll go with something more familiar. which is a waste, considering all those dev teams that actually had to learn to program for cell.

Your "point" is opinion based just as much as alexeemo's was. Difference is alexeemo's point/opinion is supported by LBP 1 winning numerous awards and accolades plus some Game of the Year awards. And from all accounts in the gaming media LBP 2 with PS Move is looking to be even better, especially because it is backwards compatible with LBP 1 levels.

That again is opinion based on 2 accounts. Better meaning feel or better meaning wireless ability. I believe the 360's d-pad is down right terrible along with the triggers for games like fighters. PLUS they're standard wireless not BT (which is actually better), don't come rechargable batteries out the box and the battery pack on the bottom can be quite uncomfortable as well. But that is my own opinion mixed with some known fact.

Hold on I have another one to match his triple
I'm not sure why they would get started on PS4 games when the PS3 only has about 2 games worth playing.
Uncharted/Uncharted 2
Then there is katamari <3
But that's in a league of its own.

I agree. I borrowed my brother-in-law's GOW 1&2 collector's edition and GOW 3. They were so good, my wife played them!

Triple post issue is server side (seems to have been from editing/spelling corrections etc), not user error side.
No you didn't strike a nerve, just clarifying some of your misinformation for others who would like proper facts over opinion.

MGS4, GT5P, Resistance 1/2, Flower, Killzone 2, MAG, Mod Nation Racers, Heavy Rain just to name a few (available now) are also great games not to mention what is coming soon...

Humph, since this thread has been allowed to take this direction I think it's fair if a bit of balance is bought into these equations.
It's my opinion that regardless of all the awards that LBP has won it's a big "meh" from me as well. I thought it had a lot of promise too but the gameplay just let it down. All the honest critics I read said the same thing too. Let's hope that it's sequel improves on that.
Inbuilt wireless may be new for the X360 but at least it's N wireless. I use N at home and I can tell you from personal experience it craps on G and not just by a bit, from a great height. I can be a couple of rooms away and can get bittorrent DLs at over 600kBs as opposed to 50 odd with G. This has to be significant for online gaming regardless whether it's new.
What's said about the HDD situation is fair. It's worthwhile remembering, however, that it will probably be pretty easy to hack a replacement HDD for use in a new X360, as it is now for anyone canny enough to do so. And you don't get banned for it.
It's frankly stupid to say Halo is the only decent exclusive game on X360 to play... it's never been my favourite anyway. I will say that the PS3 has some great exclusives too. However, many cross platform games play better on the X360, Bayonetta for example really suffers on the PS3 (see youTube), but I'm sure the reverse is true for other X-platform games. So it's six of one, half a dozen of the other in my book
I always find the arguments about the relative merits on the controllers amusing especially the stuff about charging. Certainly it's true that the Dpad on the X360's is crap, the asymmetry can be off-putting initially but it's really robust and solid and will last for years. The triggers (and the rest) are excellent regardless of what others may say and the wireless has never let me down. I talking about heavy fast hardcore arcade style gaming (like Bayonetta). I can't agree BT is better (and I use both)... and I'm not saying it's worse. On the charging front any idiot knows enough to go out and buy a cheap AA NiMH fast-charge pack for 24/7 gaming... and it can be used for other products. It's battery pack has never impeded my gaming pleasure, I never notice it. I'll end this one by saying I'm a huge fanboy of Xpadder (on PC). On that site's forum no-one disses anybody else on their choice of controller, it's personal, however the X360's is far the most popular.
I certainly hope the PS4 will be awesome... and backward compatible. With true multi-core and a better GPU. Still, my PC's new GFX card cost more than a PS3 and X360 combined (well a few months ago) coz I want high anti-aliased 1080p gaming NOW!
Its a lot easier being righteous than right.

2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
