In July, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings made it clear that a disc-free version of Netflix was headed to the PlayStation 3 by the end of the year. Today, Sony says users will be able to access the content without a disc by the end of the month. Does anyone know how to run the Netflix app without having to update to 3.42? I got the app to download using a workaround, but it prompts me to update to 3.42 when I try to run it and I don't want to lose my jailbreak capabilities. Anyone know something I don't about this? I've been searching Google for patch methods and the like but have found nothing.
