DVD SHRINK puzzling results

Hi, I have used DVD Shrink(newest version) to back up DVDs many, many times.
Sometimes though the resulting DVD will NOT play in a standalone DVD player(s), but PowereDVD will play it on the PC.
I am compressing the entire DVD according to DVD SHRINK's automatic settings when this happens. If I just reauthor the MOVIE it is okay and will play on standalone DVD.
Again this does NOT happen all of the time--certain DVDs only.

Are you using the same media everytime? You could try cleaning your standalone player.

Yes, I am using the same media. The thing is I can back an entire DVD one time, but the next time the resulting back-up won't play on any of my standalones--but on the PC. I am not changing any settings etc.
Also if I just re-author and save just the movie, it will play on those standalones.

What are you using with Shrink? If you use the combo of DVD Shrink w/ DVD Decrypter, create an ISO image. This way if it works, you'll still have the ISO, you don't have to go through the whole process of rip, compress, burn. You can just burn it.

Hey there sometimes you need to reboot your system to give it a fresh start.I use Shrink along with prassi to
backup a DVD works pretty good most of the times but there will be problems sometimes and the movie will hang up 1/2 way threw.But all and all its a pretty good piece of software.
