Firstly please don't use caps as this is against forum rules. Assuming your are using windows xp, try downloading this and then try again:

when you shrink a dvd, shrink it a little more than what you can fit on a dvd-r (4440 mb or so). Shrink just gives an estimate on what the ending filesize will be, so it could be a little bigger than you can fit on a dvd-r.

Please explain again your problem and please try to be as clear as possible. Are you saying your target drive is your hard disc or your burner? Are you using DVD Shrink or not? The ripped files are usually stored in the temp folder. You can use the search option from the start menu to look for them.

Take the original out and put in a blank.

I assume your target drive is your DVD burner and not your HD. You must make sure in your burning rom that the DVD Video option is set to copy 'without multisession' and you must use a new disc for each burn. Also check in the settings options in DVD Shrink. Do you use Nero?

i am using DVD Shrink with Nero burning enabled. i have backed up several disks now.. unless i am having a brain fart LOL... DVD Shrink analysis the DVD.. then i hit back up .. usually what happens is DVD Shrink encodes it to a file i have specified (empty) on my Desktop. then DVD Shrink spits out the DVD and prompts me for a blank. At this point i can't even get DVD Shrink to encode the DVD as it says "DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. There is not enuff disk space on your target drive." I have options set as target device: HL-DS-ST DVD RAM GSA-4028B and for temporary files: c:\\(desktop folder)

Still can't copy. When i try to go to copy disk through Nero as well i get the same error. Not enuff disk space to copy files. I dunno.. its sad.. lol.

On the DVD's you already backed up, did you delete the files off the HD. If not, you may be running out of HD space. Check your HD to see how much space you have left.

holy macaroni ~!~ yeah thanks jerry !!! you see.. as i was backing up i deleted the iso files and audio folders etc that go into my folders as temp files. you see .. i was deleting them so that they wouldn't occupy space on my HD.. well hot damn !!! my c: drive was reading 89% full.. i thought how could that be? i compressed and such. well the duhhhh is on me. it helps if you empty the recycle bin too.... after 10 back ups or so.. it was showing at over 3,000,000 mb's!!!!!!!!!! lololololololololololol
i feel real stoopid!!!! thanks tho peeples.. i promise no more stoopid questions lol..

When you delete your dvd files it allows you to put them in the recycle bin.? I always get: "to big for recycle bin, do you want to permenately delete the file?", of course I say yes. Very interesting.
