i am still unable to get thru the encoding process in shrink. any dvd i put in always stops at 51 percent. can anyone help

Does DVDshrink report an error when it stops? Like a "Cycle Redundancy Error" <--(This particular error means the disk is dirty and can't be read until you clean it.)

You could always try to rip the disc down to your hard drive with DVD Decrypter, then open those files in DVDshrink to edit them.

If your whole system is just locking up, the other possibility is that your computer is simply overheating. Are you overclocking you PC?
