dr.orsen,
What else are you using besides Shrink? Have you changed your process? Could you post your system specs?

how many have you tried? Could you have bad media? What is the size you are trying to burn to, no moe than 4400mb, right? What is the specific error?

dr.orsen & RDNoel,
What are you using with Shrink? Are you using the same media? Have you installed any new programs? Do you have another device? dvdrom or burner?
Things you can try:
Re-install shrink
Make sure your ide settings are set to DMA
If you have a second optical drive, make sure your burner is the master drive.
And have you ever updated your aspi layer?

Quote: how do i set my ide to dma what dose this mean
It's the transfer rate. To check control panel --> click your system icon --> hardware --> device manager --> IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers --> right click primary ide controller, then properties --> Under advanced tab, make sure transfer mode is DMA. Do the same for secondary ide. If you make any changes, reboot. Check this first. Also what type of media??

The quality of the media can have a huge effect on the sucess of your copies. Low quality media is the source of many burn failures and playback problems.

Using it for what? Data and movie backups are completly different animals. For movies you need a higher quality media, highly recomended on this site is the Ritek G-04 "Branded" or Verbatim
