When I use shrink, the file sizes are always too small after I analyse them. The video will be like 4.5 megs.
Evem if I use DVD encryptor first, it will show up as 6 gigs or whatever, soon as I bring it into shrink, it says the total disk is only 4 or 5 megs. When I click back up it says I only need 5 megs on my drive to do so....This is way too small, and it's not just because I'm compressing it all the way, even if I take it off it's still 5 megs.
This might be a really easy problem to get around, but I've been stuck at it all night going nuts. I'd really appreciate someone sending me in the right direction.
Try backing up the entire DVD with Shrink and change the compression to No Compression. This will at least tell you if it's a compression issue and not something else. You could also try ripping the DVD with DVD Decrypter and open the ripped files with Shrink to see if it acts any differently. No matter what compression level you use, Shrink can't compress a movie to that size so obviously something is wrong.
And refrain from making additional posts to complain that your question wasn't answered fast enough. It didn't even take 2 hours after you posted this to clutter up the forum with 2 worthless threads just so you could throw a tantrum about it. Did you think that we were all just waiting by our computers in case you stopped by with a question? Were you under the mistaken impression that we get paid for this. I'm more than happy to help, but if you're going to be beligerent you can expect to get banned long before you ever get a DVD backed up.
Dont bother doin anythin with the film i.e DVD Encryptpor, simply slam it straight into DVD Shrink then make any necessary alterations to the file size, there is a guide on how to use the software under the guide section on this site. DVD Shrink rocks, it will work

Jackbuttz, ur new to this just like me, i suggest if u wnt help of people who are experienced like the other guys or to be honest anyone in all fairness, dont hassle, your gettin personal help for free, if your not satisfied with a small wait for an answer, go to a computer store and pay money for there advice
