And this is an amazing move for Sony, showing that they're at the very least willing to make smart changes and have lower prices (which is something Sony rarely does).
Moves like this make me think Sony may stay in the game after all.
At those price points, it's going to have a very hard time vs. both the cheaper Android tablets (especially the Nexus 7), as well as the iPad family, especially with the advent of the new 7" iPads. The only real advantages it has over the Nexus 7 are higher resolution and a microSD slot.

And yet it's 'biggest selling point' is that it can be used as a TV remote control?
As far as I'm concerned, they can't compete using anything that runs Linux...it would be useless if they removed Linux support and they already know that they can get away with it.
