I downloaded Resident Evil 4 NTSC version. MY PS2 is already modded with Sumo Lite chip(it picks all backups fine). So i burned the image using Alcohol 120%(yes, i set the datatype to Playstation 2 and set the speed to 4x). But my ps2 wont pick it up. After 8-10 secs, the browser screen comes up and nothing happens.

Try burning with another DVD-RW driver, especially some of the backups that burned using a notebook doesn't work. I have also wasted lots of empty DVD's, then I finally realized that.

The issue might be about your DVD writer or the disc. I got the best results with Verbatim, Ritek and Sony DVD-R's. If you have another DVD writer or another PC, try burning the image with it, or try to use a different DVD-R.
Does the browser show PS2 Disc?

Try Verbatim 4.7 GB and burn the games with 8x speed.
And i recomend Imgburn to burn. Google it!.
