I dunno MS is a train wreck of questionable consumer related disasters, on the other hand when they had to they made up for it. They did do a rather descent job over the overheating fiasco.But on the other hand they refurbed the hell out of bad units which should have been destroyed... ME,Vista,8 were/are a joke .XP, 7 and NT were good. So they get around to releasing good products. Looking at Sony its as much of a mess how many of their products suck while they put some effort into their game consoles they fcked up the PS3 and now trying to forget it existed with the PS4...I dunno neither seem that great....
TL:DR: They both suck and toss Nintendo in with them......

Staff member or not (i presume from your rather cryptic reply that he or she is probably the guy running the show?) i cant be bothered with one person slagging another off its what destroyed the Scifi forum and Futurenoir forums which i was very fond of.
Why cant folks just get along without getting pissed off because someone doesnt agree with them is beyond me - so juvenile.

No. Don't be silly.
But when all the bashing is almost without fail 100% in one direction it seems to me very biased - and I might add often extremely disrespectful of those of us (which is the majority as far as PC OSs go, I'll bet) who are Microsoft customers.
But you don't seem to mind that sort of name-calling for some reason.
The joke here is if the comment was 100% anti Sony or Nintendo I'd feel the same the other way (for some reason Sony rarely gets any criticism but I'll sometimes pop in to put what I think is a fairer view on some of the Nintendo criticism).

I can honestly say I've never seen any (people I've known for a while & know to be genuine Xbox owners rather than suddenly claiming to be & claiming to be so incredibly outraged) so far claiming to so negative about it.
I'd say it's also true that they got a lot more than the recent PS4 reveal in terms of the actual console.
E3 will show more for both....and it'll still be long before either is released.
We'll find out more details soon enough.

I think wehat everyone is getting all heated up about is the invasion of privacy and microsoft sony et al trying to screw every last penny from every product from stuff that was originally free or perceived (like the internet) to be free for all.
That is the gist of it.
Its all about greed and nothing else - or as the liberal wankpots would say "its all about commercialism , capitalism , cosmopolitan" - ballacks!
If the consumers say f*** off we arent buying your product because... then the companies might learn a lesson (as they did with Vista , windows 8 it seems and a few other) but as is the want of the human condition these days its all about me me me - the common goal is no longer in sight! So the shaft is all you will ever get! So suck it up as the Americans would say!

Already am!
I've decided not to buy an xbox , ps3 or any other kind of gaming console - its the gaming console (oh and paedo rapists) that has stopped kids going out to play like i used to - the streets here are empty at the weekend where in my day we were all out climbing trees , throwing stones at each other and playing kick the can etc - ie keeping fit - no wonder kids these days are all fat wee potatoes with as much intelligence as a spud - is it any ownder the Chinese etc are about 100 times more intelligent and all of the world sees the UK as a haven for terrorists , drunken unintelligent yoof and a bygone era of invincibility - we cant even run the BBC properly anymore!
I also have a good stock of weapons for the coming zombie apocalypse...

No more xbox or evil ps3 - lots of days out at the gym , football in the park, swimming , cycling and out on the pull...what ya say!

Interestx ~ We have done this far too many times so I will just skip over explaining some of the things you said in your reply and just clarify something you seem to have had wrong for years about me and aD. I am a regular person, and just like you I do not have to conform to being "fair & balanced". The truth is aD has NEVER restricted me in my opinions, knowledge or facts that I have shared over the past decade (damn has it been that long already!?).
I have always called it how I see it, and if something is of importance then I point it out. If that happens to differ from someones opinion (over the facts I have laid out), then that's on them. But usually what ends up happening is there's a moment (or a few) when a person (or persons) directs insults towards me, and that's when it's not about the topic. It has become something personal ~ and I believe it's usually because that person can't dispute or disprove the facts I provided, have gotten frustrated, and have nowhere else to go to save face but to attack me personally instead of the information I have offered (of which I have to add is 99% of the time supported with links for confirmation/corroboration so its not just "opinion" but based in actual fact that is known to all the public at that time).
Now I can easily say ~ Yes, I prefer PlayStation products over Xbox 360 products. But the key term there is "Xbox 360". I have had better experience, reliability and fun with my original Xbox (that still works mind you) than with my 360...and it just so happens I can say the same (or even more so) about my PlayStation, Nintendo & even Sega consoles (to name just a few). So with that said, I do agree with your comment of how "E3 will show more for both....<and that> We'll find out more details soon enough". But honestly, from what's known so far at this point it's really interesting as to what's in store, but it's almost just as concerning (if not more) as to how MS is going to come back from this and straighten out all this confusion ~ that remember they themselves started.
