Several months ago I was using a DVD writing program that was giving me problems(dont know the name of program).
The program would freeze after the writing had started, then afterwards the DVD+RW would act as if it were a DVD+R...non erasable.
This happened to Sony and a Fujufilm DVD+RW, using a HP DVD writer.
I've tried to re-write on these same "bad" DVD+RW discs using InterVideo DVD copy program, which will re-write on newer DVD+RW discs(same brands) that were not used with my older "faulty" burning program.
Is this a fixable problem or should I give up on these 5 DVD+RW discs?
I am having the same problem. I bought a yamaha CD writer and with it came a CD-RW 48x. That is the fastest one out there. Although now I cannot empty the DVD-RW. There are 5 read only files on there and no matter what I try I cannot fix it. It's not easy finding a 48x DVD-RW out there.
