Try to reinsall the full DHv46.
This are the setting that work with all new games.

Actually, search www.psp-hacks.com, there is a way to have wallpapers on psp 1.5 but it is risky (apparently) so I would recommend not putting a wallpaper but when you emulate say firmware 2.71 put a wallpaper on the emulated firmware...

It is risky to put wallpapers on psp 1.5 because you flash it to your psp and it stays there. I have done it to my psp and it is ok. I put one for all mauths.(so I do not have only the colors) and you can do more stuff to it but it better not to.

yeah juan i know that that setting works with most new games
but i dont have a big enough memory card until about tuesday, and i was trying to run my gta lcs .cso files and it still wont work
it boots up but then gets stuck on that black screen, even when i do the home+select thing and make it 333mhz
and i reinstalled it and it worked fine.
and the psp wallpaper for 1.5 is a little complicated too
i dont want to make a mistake and get bricked for something i dont need.
or just use devhook and emulate 2.71 pick a wallpaper and leave it that way till you need to boot up another game off the memory stick

just to clarify*** i reinstalled devhook and that worked with socom, but gta lcs.cso still wont work..
any suggestions?
i know its supposed to be 830 mb but its 421 in cso format
it only works with dax izso
but i cant save

It was fixed to work whit the old loaders whit daxziso and that is why it dose not work.(to fix it they decryted the prx)so you need to get the original prx so it work whit DH.

devhook is only to play iso not rip or dump them.
you need to get other app to rip or dump iso's.(get the new UMDgen 3.50 to rip games and make iso's) and dax dumper 2 or fastloader to dump your UMD games to iso.

and just downloaded to umdgen 3.50
how do i install this?

you do have a psp 1.5?(have you played games whit devhook)
Whit fastloader go in to your psp and run it.It tell you if you what to play a iso games or Dump the UMD you have in your drive.so press that and when it take you to a new menu you see the size of the game and press to dump the full iso game to your MS.
umdgen 3.50 is for your PC(you do not need to install it)so you can make iso's when you rip them if you what.(I delete the update folder for all game)you can relink the .pmf movies if you what to make the game small.
open UMDgen and the open the iso with it and look the files it has and delete what you what. some files you have ot relink like .pmf so the games work.(do not delete them) only the update or other languges that the games have can be deleted.

yes i have 1.5, and i play GTA with devhook .45
the fastloader 0.07 wont boot up i installed it and everything
maybe i did somthing wrong
but all it says is
"this game could not be started"
whats the problem?
did i install it wrong
or do i have a bad download?

Did you put the 2 folders(juan and juan%) in the GAME folder?
you can not loade homebrews in the 2.71 xmb(you have to fix them) so go back to 1.5 (if you get DHv46 there is a homebrew that lets you exit from the xmb to your 1.5 psp)or hold the power butten for 5sec.

i had the dax, and made it iso and it wouldnt load in devhook
what if i convert it to iso?
will it work then?
and where does fastloader dump the umd to?

hey tyrone, yes fastloader dumps to the ms, you have to do somethings to get that all in iso format i have to look at the directs for that, go to google and check that out, anyway, you said you converted it to iso and it didnt work and then said what if i convert it to iso, that doesn't make any sense, im thinking your wondering about converting to "cso" Anyway it sounds like you have a bad file, download another gta file, extract that file and put it in umdgen, go to psp-hacks.com for that, anyway if its an iso it will show the game save pic and a psp_game folder and a umd.bin, if that comes up you have an iso, i would recommend compressing that iso to cso with the iso converter off psp hacks.com,hopefully i helped thats a lot to take in. pm me if you need any help with games or anything

burnin1 I know the folder that are in the 150F.but what files dose it have in them and the size of the 150F folder.(in my 150F I only have some .txt files)
tyrone10 GTA dose not work because it was fixed so it worked whit the .dax loaders(MPH). If you what to fix it you need the original prx of GTA to put them back in to the iso.you can do that with UMDgen v3.50 open the iso whit it and look where the .prx file are and put the new .prx files there and make a new iso.(you can relink the music in the game to make it smaller)
Fastloader dumps your UMD to iso in your MS.Dax dumper 2 can dump the iso to you PC.(you need an app on your PC for it to work)the usbhostfs_pc.exe that DH uses for USB work whit it.

nah man i got gta working on devhook fine, anyway tyrone i mean to use umd gen to check if your file is an iso for you, also you can save files as iso with that, but anyway i got a rip of gta and i compressed it to a cso and it works fine
