yeah sony can't stop devhook, another thing is that wasn't even him who had those files of theirs.

this is a noob question but what exactly is a prx file?
My 11 Year Collection =]
-psp 1.5..2 gb mem stick (gta lcs, socom, need for speed most wanted, nba live 06, burnout, wipeout pure, nba, sims 2)
-2.8 ghz dell 4600 [its sorry], a 1.06 ghz dell laptop [also sorry]
-xbox, ps2, gamecube, gba sp, n64 (about 60 games for these)
NO WIRELESS CONNECTION =[

If you look in a iso game(umdgen)there will be a folder whit .prx files that make the game work.(module or kmodule)
With devhook you do not have to fix them so the games works.
With old loader you had to fix them so the game worked(use prx from other older games(that worked) or decrypt them)

there is going to be a way to emulate firmware 2.8 in the near future...
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

yeah they already have the 2.8 firmware files they just need to get them all put together right for devhook and we will be done

juan2320 the file size of 150f is 4.39KB and five different files looks like prx files.

i dont think it will tak elong its just booster is haveing problems with sony legally because of some dummy on his team but it will be done soon enough! you know it took a day for the firmwares to be dumped.

They have the FW files dumped but not decrypted so they can not work.(if they where decrypted we have 2.8 FW working with DH now)
We can not know how long it will take for the 2.8 FW to be decrypted.
(It can take a day or a year)When a new FW come out it can take more time.

Ok looks like me playing either a cso or iso copy of VP is not gonna happen, every time, I want as I enter Odin's castle , I get the black screen of death, my current question is this, if I get a original US copy of Valkyrie Profile, all I have to do is, boot up devhook , select any UMD and insert the original game in, and it should play fine? I dont actually have to do a actual update do I?
Please confirm this, thanks!

If you have the UMD change the setting from iso to UMD and it has to work.(I tryed it whit GTA UMD) If you what to send me your save and I will test it on my ISO.(PM me your email)
Do you play it at 222 or 333Mhz?

Hey. I know this is a little off topic, sorry about that!
Does anyone know where I can get a decent UMD ripper programme? I accidently deleted mine when I was sorting my pc out and I cant seem to find a decent programme. Any help appreciated! Thanx!

Hi i have a psp 1.5 and whenever i try to run any iso game the psp reboots and when the white screen arrives with the text PSP on it then everything goes black and the psp swichtes off automatically everything hangs and the settings i use is right my friends also use the same settings pls help my devhook v.44

noDS with UMDgen 3.50 you can rip(relink) your iso games.

get the new UMDgen 3.50(on PC) to rip(delete the update folder and the iso will be smaller) games and make(iso)(.dax)(.cso)
Use Dax dumper 2 or Fastloader(on psp) to dump your UMD games to iso on you MS or PC.

OMG! those left with a TA-082 PSP are so happy now, you can now load iso's with 2.6! with the gta eloader, go to psp-hacks.com to read more, this is a great accomplishment!

Go to File Open and look for the iso in your PC and then you will see the files it has inside.Look for the update folder and delete it. Then go to File Save and make a new iso or .cso

Hi, Ooook this is quite wierd i was wondering if any of you know whats up! I backed up my psp games so i can run them off memory stick with devhook. some are iso's some cso's. anyway i was using devhook 4.5 then 4.6 and everything was going fine untill today!!
so i turn on my psp go on devhook select socom on all the setting that were working just yesterday. and the game doesnt load it just loads the 2.71 firmware. i tried this with afew other games and the same thing hapend. so i deleted the iso's and cso's and then put fresh dumps on the memory stick still no luck. i removed devhook and put it back on. not working!
Does anyone know whats wrong?
