I would just like to also confirm that version 752 does work. Auto Scan, EPG the lot. I'm here in Dublin using NTL. Feel confident to give it a try and many thanks to all who have posted the updates, codes and advice.

ok lads what am i doin wrong ,have 752 and stblink5.20 downloaded onto my desktop and connection established,need a step by step from here on in i guess

When You have connection established click Upgrade Software
It will look for the file, if 7.52 is visable select it or click brouse till you find it
Click Open
The LED Light on your Replay Lite box should start to flash red/green every second or so while the software (515 blocks) is being downloaded to it. It will continue to flash like this for a short time after it has downloaded. Do not unplug or do anything to the Replay lite until the red/green light starts to flash at a rapid rate. Then unplug the Replay and disconnect the null modem cable. Power up the Replay and if it already has the channels in memory it should work fine after a few minutes when it finds the codes. If you do not have any channels go to Auto Search and Change the Symbol Rating to 6887 and press search. it will take approx 15-20 mins to find channels.

this is probably gonna sound thick but when i press upgrade the page appears with rom highlighted in blue and also where is the browse button?

Ignore the "rom" when you select the software file it will replace the "Rom". In the window just above where "Rom" is you should see a list of files and among them should be the 7.52 file. Click on it with the mouse and then click open at the bottom of the window.

I have Flashed my replay lite box and all worked well. i tried to flash my partners box and all appeared to download ok until Ihad todisconnect the power and on again, thebox stays on standbye and wont come on. i have waited 10mins and tried to power up again but no luck. Both boxes were purchased at the same time and appear to be the same batch. The PC appeared to download the 515 blocks. I can only think I may have unplugged too early. Please HELP, my partner says she aint a happy bunny ! I need back in the good books again.

When you connect box does it connect through the com port ok, i mean does the firmware version read in the top of the stblink or does it say unestablished. I had this problem recently where my box just sat there with the red light on and i couldn't do anything with it. I had to install the old 742a firmware as this has bootloader in it. After that i loaded 752 and away it went no probs.

Yes, the pc was all set up ok. i had done my box on wednesday and it all worked ok. I was doing my partners box and the link was ok and the screen showed the blocks downloading up to 515. After it completed on the pc and the light on the replay box changed speed I then unplugged power to replay lite and on again..........but there lies the problem. The red light stayed on and willnot turn on. Hope you may have some ideas to try, Alan.

Would sugges you try the "Clone" option from your good box. The instructions are contained at the bottom to the upgrade instructions
